What are the Symptoms?

The range of symptoms in these related conditions is extremely large. The following are just some of the most common:

Sweating, Nausea, Diarrhoea, Nervous Tics, Difficulty Concentrating

Sometimes these manifest in what we call Social Phobias which include such things as:

Blushing, Fear of Public Speaking, Fear of Expressing Opinions, Fear of Making Eye Contact.

The types of conditions commonly associated with these symptoms are: Agrophobia and Social Phobia for example.

There are also many conditions which are sometimes even more debilitating such as Panic Attacks and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD's) such as rituals associated with leaving the house, or checking all the doors are locked before going to bed.

What is the cause?

Fundamentally, the basis of all the above is fear. Usually this lies deep in the subconscious and is almost always irrational.

How Therapy Can Help?

Treatment time can vary depending upon the condition and the personality involved. Most though, require 3-6 sessions. A mixture of Suggestion Therapy and Analytical Hypnotherapy usually work best.
